about
The Corridor Project [TCP] is a not-for-profit arts and cultural organisation situated on Wiradjuri Country in the Central West of New South Wales. We deliver a dynamic annual program of artist residencies, exhibitions, workshops, events and professional development opportunities that support the intersection of arts, science and environmental practice in regional Australia.
Operating from repurposed agricultural infrastructure, the organisation provides a unique platform for multidisciplinary artists and local communities to come together, experiment and create. These adaptive spaces enable both independent and collaborative projects, enabling innovation while responding directly to the surrounding landscape and its cultural significance.
Set among granite hills, river systems, expansive skies and diverse flora and fauna, TCP offers a place that informs artistic and experimental process and inquiry. This distinctive context encourages place-based practice, cross-disciplinary dialogue and slow engagement with ecological and cultural systems.
Through our programs, TCP strengthens regional creative networks, supports emerging and established artists, and creates opportunities for community participation.
TCP plays a vital role in expanding regional access to arts and cultural experiences whilst promoting eco-tourism, contributing to sustainability and visibility of regional artistic practice.
Our facilities include architecturally restored shearers’ quarters and repurposed historic woolshed that provides space for artist residencies, research, professional development, events, concerts and public programs. We support local communities and multi disciplinary artists to explore arts & culture, science, and environment.
Our location is set amongst the region’s renowned granite hills, river systems, open skies and abundant flora & fauna. We offer an environment for creative exploration and cross-disciplinary engagement in regional Australia.
