THE BUNDABURRAH CREEK DABU YARRA MURAN PROJECT - residency

The Bundaburrah Creek Dabu Yarra Muran Project strategically links revegetation of specific native plants to provide materials for weaving workshops to facilitate cultural fishing practices with equipment (fish/yabbie traps) and improved education of broader community. In partnership with LachLandcare, Forbes Aboriginal Working Group, NSW Department of Planning Industry and Environment, Orange Fibre Artists Group Inc., Wiradyuri Dreaming Centre, Lake Cowal Foundation, Inspiring Australia and the CORRIDOR Project.

Weaving and fibre collection residency, in collaboration with indigenous communities and acting Senior Environmental Water Management, Officer Dr. Jo Lenehan, Environmental Water & Floodplains - South West Branch development of 3 instructional videos for indigenous communities in collaboration with Commonwealth’s Monitoring Evaluation Research (MER) Aboriginal Engagement Program (formally LTIM) Bundaburrah Aboriginal Fishing Trust Grant Project. Devonian Aquarium Animations – Scientific knowledge/presentation of the Devonian period leading to development of a Devonian aquarium animated by participants with the use of ipads and phones - Todd Fuller Tutorial
